Let's all take a cue from our smiley, cuddly friends from the rainforest, and slllloooowww dooowwwnnn. Ever feel like you don't have enough time to breathe in each pose of a traditional vinyasa yoga class? Are you always a step behind the rest of the class? Or are you just weary from your fast-paced lifestyle? This class will nuture and support you with a slower pace, but that won't make it any less challenging or satisfying! Prioritizing a smooth and deep breath throughout, we will explore the poses of the warm-up, standing, seated and reclined series with the curiosity and care of a sloth, remembering to smile along the way.
This class is every Thursday from 6-7pm beginning 11/2.
Leyla Moore has been falling in love with yoga for the past ten years and counting. First drawn to its health benefits, she was pleasantly surprised to also find the most profound peace and empowerment through her practice, and wished to spread the love through teaching. She got her 200-hour certification from Loom Yoga in 2015 and was given Reiki I by Cole Hooley in 2016. Leyla specializes in an alignment- and breath-focused vinyasa, and is committed to counteracting the painful side effects of our sedentary, screen-glued tendencies through mindful movement, grounding and opening poses.
