Root Mamma & Natural Paths Healing Events are teaming up for this very special community potluck dinner! Please join us in this warm & joyous atmosphere, to collectively give thanks for all of the blessings we have received in our lives, and celebrate love, one another, and the abundance of the harvest season.
We invite you to bring a yummy dish to share, made with intention and love! Some ideas:
-A dish incorporating healing foods, herbs, or spices
-A colorful dish corresponding to the color of a particular chakra, with the intention of sending love and healing to that area in yourself and others
-A dish that brings up warm and positive memories of childhood (an old family favorite)
-A special recipe that you'd love to share with others!
These are just some ideas, but you are welcome to bring whatever you'd like! If you feel called to be nourished by turkey or another meat or fish, feel free to bring that! Please keep in mind that we are likely to have a handful of vegetarian/ vegan/ gluten intolerant folks in the group. Feel free to bring a card to label your dish along with any allergens, or we can provide that for you to fill out on the spot :-)
You are welcome to bring any high vibe non alcoholic beverages such as herbal infusions, kombucha, juice spritzers, etc! Please note that we will not be serving alcohol at this event, and we would ask that you refrain from drinking alcohol in the space. We will all be high off of the happy vibes and good company, and won't need a drink to distract us from familial tensions either ;-)
What you can expect:
4pm-5pm: Arrivals, catching up, hugs, snacks, storytelling, good vibes
5pm-5:30pm: Tableside thankfulness share + group gratitude ritual
5:30pm-7:30pm: DINNER + Dessert ;-)
7:30pm-9:00pm: Digestion, live music, parlor games, naps
And more juicy goodness to be announced :-)
Please join us in creating a new & healing tradition during what can be a stressful holiday season. We love you, and we are all family if we decide to be!
This event will be by donation. In honor of Native American Heritage Month & recognizing the skewed historical American representation of the Thanksgiving holiday, we will be donating 100% of proceeds to a Native American Charitable Organization, TBA.
PLEASE RSVP if you plan on attending this event, and let us know if you are bringing a guest (you are more than welcome to!). We want to be sure everyone has a seat at the table!
**Please let us know if you would like to volunteer to help set up before, or clean up after the event! We will be using real dishes + silverware to minimize our impact on the environment, so dish assistance would be much appreciated :-)
