An Evening of Healing
Focusing on Mental Health & Trauma Awareness
Hosted by Wandering Roots
Join Wandering Roots on Thursday, March 22nd, for an Evening of Healing focusing on mental health and trauma awareness. This event is trauma sensitive and will be a safe space for anyone suffering to find healing.
The evening will begin with trauma-informed yoga facilitated by Lindsay Yeager. This will be followed by a special community circle facilitated by Desiree Fiorentino who organizes Filling the Void: Sobriety & Spirituality that meets once a month at Root Mamma. The evening will conclude with Buddhist Dharma and meditation facilitated by Emmett Farley.
We ask for a $5-$25 suggested donation to support the space and the practitioners, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
We ask that all participants arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the start of the event so as not to disrupt the practices.
Wandering Roots Healing Events is a partner of Root Mamma and offers workshops and events centered around various realms of healing and empowerment. Events focus on opening space for individuals to deepen their connection to self, while bringing people together and creating community through a blending of educational, energetic, interpersonal, creative, and movement based offerings.
