Craft Yourself a Garden
Hosted by Sarah Rayne
Join urban gardener & artist Sarah Rayne for this very special healing crafts workshop!
This luxurious Sunday afternoon will begin with a gentle plant meditation, to allow you to connect with your plant allies and tap into the grounding and revitalizing energy of mother earth. Depending on the weather, we may be able to enjoy this portion in the garden out back!
We will then begin the fun and crafty part of the afternoon. Supplies will be provided for you to decorate your very own flower pot to take home! We'll have supplies on hand for you to collage/ decoupage, paint, or bedazzle your planter. All materials will be provided, with a focus on fresh, springtime imagery. Feel free to bring extra collage materials if you have something specific in mind! You'll have free reign to create as your heart desires, and Sarah will be on hand to offer guidance and advice throughout the process as needed.
While our beautiful creations dry, Sarah will talk about the healing properties of some of our most common kitchen herbs and flowers, and you'll then have the opportunity to choose which herbs or flowers you'd like to plant in your beautiful new planter to take home!
We'll end with a collective blessing, so that all of our seeds maybe be infused with positive energy, and flourish throughout the Spring and Summer!
You'll leave with a custom planter to brighten up your windowsill or patio, and knowledge and connection to some of your new herbal allies and plant friends!
Please pre-register in advance if you plan on attending, so we can be sure to have enough supplies for everybody!!
