Hello, my name is Masha. I am a licensed psychotherapist and certified in yoga teacher training. I have experience in helping adults and young adults of all walks of life overcome depression, anxiety, grief, transition, and addiction, among other issues. I use numerous modalities in my practice, but all are rooted in a strengths-based, relational, and holistic approach. I offer traditional therapy as well as integrative therapies, such as CBT, DBT, interpersonal therapy, motivational interviewing and mindfulness. I provide a compassionate, collaborative, and supportive space in order for my clients to feel safe in overcoming their personal challenges.
I am a trained CBT psychotherapist. CBT is solution-focused and evidence- based, and is widely regarded as a highly effective treatment for anxiety and depression. It focuses on the connection between your thoughts, feelings and behaviors and many people find success with this treatment approach. However, I believe in the importance of incorporating a variety of treatment modalities when working with someone. I believe that healing comes from addressing the whole person – spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. I empower my clients and guide them in finding solutions that best suit their needs.
