Changing the tendons Qigong with Dr. Kat
(Hybrid ~ PDX + Online)

Join certified Qigong teacher Dr. Kat Brady, LAc. for an hour of Qigong in which we will dive deep into Qigong forms and unlock their magic. We will practice and learn the theory behind forms from the rich lineage of the Liu family as taught by the Ling Gui International Healing Qigong School.

Through November and early December, for six classes starting 11/9, we will be focusing on the traditional form Yi Jin Jing / Changing the Tendons Qigong. This form was developed by Bodhidarma in the Temple of Shaolin in response to witnessing that weakness of energy and joint problems of monks. This form strengthens our vitality while supporting our tendons and joints. This renowned form contains deep wisdom teaching us how to hold our bodies up while releasing all tension and effort.

No experience required and beginners encouraged. Modifications for chair Qigong for all movement practices can be taught on request. It is encouraged but not required to attend all classes.

No special clothing required but they should be easy to move in.
