Perhaps you’ve had the blessing of helping others through your Reiki offerings, and have witnessed the profound peace & clarity folks experience after receiving Reiki. I like to think of Reiki as an intelligent and adaptable energy. In my experience, the more you commit to and deepen into your relationship with Reiki, the more Reiki commits to you. The blessings, the healings, the clarity — can all expand manifold the more you dedicate yourself to being a steward of this divine healing energy.
The Reiki Level 3 + Mastership journey is one of committing to Reiki for life - literally. It’s opening to a sacred union of reciprocity with universal life force energy. Reiki infuses into your life to support you in deep and profound ways, and you commit to being of service and embodying the Reiki energy, to create more good and healing in the world around you.

about Reiki Level 3
This weekend intensive is the foundation + prerequisite for taking the Reiki Mastership training to follow. It is possible to take this as a standalone class, for those who don’t feel ready or available to commit to mastership training journey. In addition to learning about and being attuned to the Master Symbol, we will dive deep into expanded techniques for Reiki + energy manipulation. We’ll go over the basics of holding space for others, and how to tend to our bodies as vessels and channels for greater amounts of spiritual energy. This course is perfect for anyone hoping to deepen their skills as a Reiki practitioner. After this course you will be certified as a 3rd Level Reiki Practitioner. If you’d like to go deeper with all of the above as well as learn SO much more, we’d love for you to join us for the Reiki Mastership training to follow!

About the Reiki mastership training
This extended group training + mentorship will expand upon all of the lessons of Reiki 3, and go SO much deeper. In this training, I’m literally going to offer you every single tool in my healer’s toolkit, and train you to be the best possible healer and spaceholder that you can be. We’ll talk additional techniques, dive deep into energetics of the body, and learn about anatomy, TCM, and trauma awareness from guest teachers. You’ll learn how to integrate other modalities such as sound healing + crystal healing into your reiki practice, and have hands-on practice with each. We’ll honor the cultural roots of Reiki and take a group field trip to a Japanese Museum. You will learn how to teach Reiki + pass atunements. You’ll also receive 1:1 support via mentorship meetings + healing sessions.
This training will give you everything you need to feel confident being a steward and channel for Reiki energy, and infusing Reiki into all areas of your life + service. You do not have to want or plan to teach reiki or even establish a Reiki business in order to take this training, but you’ll have all the knowledge and tools and your disposal that can allow you to do both, should you decide to now or in the future. Those who complete all requirements + teach their sample reiki 1 class by September will receive their Reiki Master Teacher certification. If you choose to opt out of teaching your sample class but complete all other requirements, you will receive a Reiki Master Practitioner certification.

When deciding how much to pay, we welcome you to consider factors such as household income + cost of living, generational wealth, race or class privilege, student debt, and identity such as a BIPOC and/or LGBTQ+. We ask that you pay what you can truly afford to help subsidize lower-income folks having access to this training. Payments can made in full or in a payment plan of up to 12 installments. After every (6) students, we'll be able to offer (1) partial BIPOC scholarship + (1) partial work exchange discount to students in need. Due to high overhead costs + intensive teaching + preparation necessary for this 50-hour training, we will not be able to offer any discounted spots until we reach 6 students enrolled.

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, you are welcome to split your payment in up to 12 installments for the mastership training, or 3 payments for Reiki Level 3.
Are you offering scholarship or discounted spots?
For the Mastership Training, after every (6) students, we'll be able to offer (1) partial BIPOC scholarship + (1) partial work exchange discount to students in need. Where will this training take place?
This training will take place both in-person in Southeast Portland, OR, and online via zoom. Reiki 3 will be in person only.
Who is eligible to take this training?

About Sarah Rayne
Sarah Rayne is a queer witch, a healing artist, and a holder of sacred space. She alchemizes group magic & expands awareness through her ceremony + workshop offerings, and supports clients on their healing journeys through nourishing 1:1 sessions that include tarot readings, reiki energy healing, intuitive guidance, and/or sound healing. She is the founder and magician-in-chief of Firebird Healing Arts, and shares her magic locally in Portland, OR, as well as online, with the whole world.
She aims to cultivate sacred spaces that feel inclusive, safe, trauma-aware, magical, grounded + real, and full of integrity. She is passionate about teaching and offering Reiki because of the profound impact this sacred healing modality has had on her life and personal healing journey. A NOTE ON REIKI:
Reiki is an energy healing method that originated in Japan. The method of Reiki I practice is based upon the Usui Reiki Method, but has been inevitably Westernized since being taught in America for the past many decades. It is not the same as Traditional Japanese Reiki (which is not largely practiced outside of Japan). Out of respect for the cultural traditions of Japan, and the ascended masters in my lineage, I acknowledge that this cultural tradition does not belong to me. I practice with reverence and gratitude for this powerful healing modality. I will be donating a percentage of the revenue from this class to the Portland chapter of the Japanese-American Citizens League.
