We cordially welcome you into Open Hearth, the First Annual Winter Benefit Concert for Glimmer Wellness Center! A warm, heart-centered evening of song, dance and intentional connection with community awaits. We are grateful for your presence!
The evening will begin with an opening act TBA, flow into fun & folksy bops & expansive medicine songs from Deer Friend, feature fusion bellydance with Jordan Sun & others, and unfurl into the deeply moving soul medicine music transmissions from Maitreya Wolf.
A portion of proceeds from this event will go towards our ongoing fundraiser to cover the initial opening costs + supplies needed for Glimmer. Your support in turn supports the community having access to a well-equipped, heart-centerd and women & queer-led healing space with yoga props, mirrors, sound equipment & other essentials.
Homemade soup & herbal tea available for purchase, funds donated to support Glimmer.

DEER FRIEND:
Deer Friend is a Portland, OR, based dream folk duo made up of Sarah Rayne & Kat Brady. Their sound weaves together soulful vocals, entrancing percussion, and a wide variety of instruments ranging from shruti box to guitar to metallophone. Their songs range from epic trance-like ballads to simpler, folksy guitar tunes, and all share an undercurrent of soulful intensity, and playfulness.

JORDAN SUN:
Jordan is a lifelong dancer and multipassionate artist. At the age of 14, her interest was piqued by the timeless benefits of meditation and yoga. In 2010, she attained her license in Massage Therapy and also began her studies of Fusion Bellydance. In 2014, Jordan received her Yoga Teacher certification at Passion Yoga School. Jordan is the founder of Infinitely Love Healing Arts, a collective of health care practitioners in 2022.In addition to offering healing, teaching movement medicine and performing as a fusion dancer, Jordan is a self-taught watercolor artist. Currently, she is a holistic Thai Massage Therapist, Postpartum Doula and is pursuing a degree in Dance Movement Therapy with Lesley University. “I am devoted to helping people feel better, move better and live in greater joy!”
