Qigong in the Park [Portland]

Join certified Qigong teacher Kat Brady for an hour of Qigong drawing upon the rich lineage of Liu family as taught by the Ling Gui International Healing Qigong School. This in-person class will incorporate both standing and seated practices that will incorporate forms such as 1000 Hands Budha and Immune Boosting Qigong, meditation, Qi self-massage, and breathwork.

Qigong is a Chinese movement, breath, and meditation practice that helps to regulate your body's Qi, harmonize your organs, and open you up to the divine energies of the universe.

No experience required. Each class will be crafted to be accessible to beginners and long-time Qigong students alike.

This class will be held outdoors, at Kenilworth Park in SE Portland.

No special clothing required but they should be easy to move in. Please bring a yoga mat as class will be taught outdoors. It is also suggested to bring bolster for seated practices.

ABOUT KAT: Kat Brady (they/them) is a Reiki Master, certified teacher of Qigong in the Ling Gui lineage, student of Chinese Medicine, and wellness event organizer. They offer Reiki treatments in their private practice as well as acupuncture treatments at the clinics of the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine where they are pursuing their first professional doctorate in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. They also host Reiki Sound Baths with their wife Sarah Rayne.
